4 Coats Under $40

Hey yall! Hope you've been enjoying fall so far. It has been so beautiful out and I am loving the leaves here in North Carolina. It's that time of year that we are reaching for a coat and layer our outfits more. I know some of us are also cleaning out our closets to make room for new ones!

I am so excited to share that I have rounded up four jackets that I suggest for the season. Each one is under $40! These are all on-trend and such a steal! You can stay looking chic, bundled AND not break the bank this fall and winter in one of these. I am going to share why I love and the sizing details to shop below!

Then, let you know exactly where you can give your coats locally this week. I love giving back and especially this time of year. We can come together to keep our neighbors in the Queen City warm!

Let's get started with my favorite one!

I love this first one because it can be dressed up or down. This longline blazer coat would also look awesome with a pair of joggers, nice sneakers, and hoodie layered under it. So many ways to style it! I am wearing a size small for reference.

The second one is a classic. You can never go wrong with a jean jacket! An oversized fit is what's in style and I love it. I did denim on denim here but you can also wear over a dress, with black jeans, sweatpants, leggings, you name it. I am wearing a size medium for reference and it also comes in a few other washes!

The next one is a cozy and comfortable fit. These sherpa jackets were around last year and you'll be seeing them in-store again this year if you haven't already. This one comes in different colors like lime, pink and black. Love the buttons and pockets! I am wearing a size small for reference.

The last one I picked out is a staple and goes with pretty much everything. This is a great one to grab and go because its warm and black matches a lot! I am wearing a size small. This puffy coat does come in a couple prints and different colors if you already have a basic one like this. Only $25!

As you start to make some room for new styles this year or look for place to donate to locally, please consider the 704 Coat Drive. It is presented by Charlotte Mechanical and goes to our local Salvation Army. I shared the details on a couple news stations last week if you want to check out the segments. You can also see a couple other ways that I styled the blazer coat!

Be sure to find one of their 65+ red barrels around the Queen City if you want to participate! You can drop off your new OR like-new jackets in them. They are also putting on a fun event in Dilworth on the last day of the drive which is coming up on November 12th! It's called Zip Up Day at Dilworth Neighborhood Grille and goes from 8 AM- 4 PM. It's a drive-thru style donation event and you'll be greeted with free food, music, mascots! It will be fun for kids because there will even be a stilt walker.

The last option if you want to take part is you can give monetarily at 704CoatDrive.com. There is more info on their site too if you have any more questions and as always, thanks so much for reading. I hope you are having a good week so far and stay tuned for my next post soon! I have so much to share! The holidays are officially upon us.

Sending love!

Best,

Rachel
